Maintaining a consistent level of excellence requires substantial financial resources beyond those received from tuition. A tradition of celebration and support for Donna Klein Jewish Academy, the annual Gala & Auction. This event, attended by over 300 community leaders, business owners, and families, is our largest fund-raiser of the year, directly benefiting students through numerous school programs and scholarships.
For the past 25 years, we have celebrated Grandparents and Special Friends’ Day, which was designed to strengthen the bond between generations of families and friends. DKJA’s wish for this special day is for our grandparents and special friends to appreciate how unique they are and that they provide the continuity, traditions, and the history for our children to become knowledgeable Jews as they become young adults. Intergenerational ties and traditions are a vital part of Jewish education, and Grandparents and Special Friends’ Day exemplifies how DKJA supports and recognizes this aspect of our students’ lives while strengthening the connection between school and families.
DKJA continually seeks ways to involve members of our community in friendraising and fundraising events. Throughout the year, DKJA holds these events to appeal to all different members of our community.
